The Sunbeam 12/30 H.P was introduced in response to demand for a automobile with similar quality and design to the Sunbeam 14 but to be lighter in weight and smaller in dimensions. The seater body was specially designed for this chassis and Sunbeam claimed this to be an economical automobile .

This automobile was built in 1924 and was exported to Melbourne, Australia in 1933 where it spent 65 years. The Sunbeam comes with an extensive history with a documented file from its time in Australia including original receipts, original owner's certificates, letters of correspondence between former owners, insurance documentation.

The condition of the Sunbeam is stunning. The automobile has been clearly maintained to the highest of standards throughout its life and the detailed record of maintenance from the 1940's highlights this. The Sunbeam has been carefully detailed & has lovely paintwork and a powerful, straight body. The inside appears to be highly original and the weather equipment is in excellent order. The dashboard and instruments are in excellent condition and the engine bay is pleasant.
